Re-centring Humanity in Business Models for Social Inclusion
Re-centring Humanity in Business Models for Social Inclusion
Samenvatting
Global economic growth and its associated challenges, particularly those related to environmental impact, vulnerabilities in various global regions, inclusivity, and sustainability, prompt serious reflections on the types of economic and business models capable of achieving such growth, while addressing the challenges. Discussions on circular economy (European Commission, 2020; Lycklama à Nijeholt, Knol-Veldhuizen and van Slooten, 2023; Rijsdijk, 2023) and a green and just economic transition (Gass et al., 2021; AIV, 2023) underscore the need to scrutinise the influence of the prevalent linear economic paradigm in shaping economic perspectives within and between countries.
