Tijdens de Nie-conferentie 2019 is de We-Energy gespeeld met een aantal geïnteresseerde bezoekers. Naast het presenteren en het spelen van deze serious game heeft dr. T. Ouariachi Peralta een presentatie verzorgd over Serious Games in de energiesector.

Met een zestal deelnemers afkomstig van het programma "Flexible Energy Technology" van Hanzehogeschool Groningen is de We-Energy Game gespeeld. Het achterliggende doel was om hen kennis te laten maken met het spel, en het bewustzijn en inzicht in de energietransitie te vergroten.
