In an increasingly globalized world challenged by multiple social problems, global social identifications (GSIs, e.g., with all humanity) are concepts of growing interest. Although such identifications can be affected by the cultural contexts in which they are manifested, research on them remains largely …

This study evaluates the potential of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle-based Ground-Penetrating Radar (UAV-GPR) for identifying buried features related to a suspected World War II (WWII) hiding place near Bornerbroekseweg, the Netherlands. The survey area is an active farmland …

Three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction has become a fundamental technology in applications ranging from cultural heritage preservation and robotics to forensics and virtual reality. As these applications grow in complexity and realism, the quality of the reconstructed models becomes increasingly critical. …

The EPRIME Continuous Professional Development (CPD) course has been developed to equip earlyyears educators—both pre-school teachers and primary school teachers—with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to deliver high-quality physical education to children aged 4 to 7. Fields neighboring the disciplines of kinesiology and sports science have called for more interdisciplinary work, including the adoption of critical approaches to research. This scoping review explored the degree to which critically-aligned research has developed within these disciplines. The goal was …

This paper explores the influence of various camera settings on the quality of 3D reconstructions, particularly in indoor crime scene investigations. Utilizing Neural Radiance Fields (NeRF) and Gaussian Splatting for 3D reconstruction, we analyzed the impact of ISO, shutter speed, and aperture settings …
